So, still being sort of new here there are times when I, or one of you, might want to contact someone via email on a more personal or one-to-one basis. This is not meant to take away from the openness and sharing that we all appreciate, enjoy and learn from. However, since this is a public forum that anyone has access to, I or others may not choose to post email addresses here. I spoke to Ellen about it. She politely stated, and I agree, that she would not be comfortable giving out emails unless someone has OK'd it. If you feel so inclined let Ellen know and she could have a list of "allowable" email addresses. Thots? :-)

No problem here.

I'm going to need a signed consent from everyone and down payment first :) Either that or you can just ask Ellen, as I'm fine with it. You can always go to my site and submit an email that goes right to me or hit me up on that facebook thingy. But really, is this borderline being contactable if we have to give out permission to contact us? Just a thought.

No probs here especially since I doubt if any of you can be as annoying and persistent as some of the spam mail I get. If I didnt have 4 kids I would be taking it very personally!

You peeps are awesome, thanks for sharing. DR Huynh, I hear you, but it seems like the best option especially if someone is giving out their personal email. It took me awhile to get back to the forum and thank you for making your emails available to the rest of us. I'm in western Washington and we got hit with a snow/ice storm. Power was out at our house for two days. Just came on this am. Fortunately we have a gas fireplace and gas stove. Haven't been able to get back to the office since we left Tues evening. The ice has caused downed trees and power lines. We won't be going in today either, rain and wind is coming this evening. We've been through this many times over the years, you get creative and adapt. Kinda like indoor camping. I gotta say the sound of snapping trees and ice chunks falling is incredible. :-0

Which part of WA are you in Alan? I grew up in Tacoma/Gig Harbor.

Bonney Lake. Being that we're more rural we have a lot of trees and once every year or two we might lose power. Being from Gig Harbor you can probably relate.
