At DC Mentors we are often heard to say that “leaders are readers” and we suggest that you try to read at least one book per week.

By Dr. Cecile Thackeray

Dear Coaches:
I have a list of about 20 books I need to read, but I can’t seem to make a dent in it. Do you have any suggestions for this?
Dr. A

Dear Dr. A,
At DC Mentors we are often heard to say that “leaders are readers” and we suggest that you try to read at least one book per week. It is extremely important to schedule time in your day to do this. The first twenty minutes in the morning and the last twenty minutes before you go to bed are excellent times for reading. We understand that life with a family can be very busy. The advances in technology and the availability of audio books in conjunction with the use of an IPOD or MP3 player will allow you to “READ” during commute or workout times.
