We at DC Mentors believe we take care of people and not conditions.

By Dr. Douglas Sea

Dear Coaches:
Last week I had a patient come in with a simple ankle sprain. My old management firm advised me not to treat this patient as they didn’t want me to become known as an “ankle specialist.” I am to be known as a “spinal specialist”. What would you guys have advised me to do?
Dr. T

Dear Dr. T.
We at DC Mentors believe we take care of people and not conditions. Our advice would be to take excellent care of the patient. As Dale Carnegie became famous for saying, “Help enough people get what they want and they will help you get what you want”. If you believe you possess the solution to someone’s problem it is your duty and responsibility to share your truth with them.
